About Designs by Jojo
A little bit about the Designs by Jojo story......
During 2012, Designs by Jojo decided to start designing and selling a range of unique and contemporary jewellery, calling on her experience from making hand made wedding stationery (2004) to help her along the way as well as receiving a personal compliment from a friend stating that "I oozed creativity!".
This led to her entering beading competitions namely in 2014, Tribal Chic, overall coming 2nd place in an international competition (see Pinterest board Designs by Jojo for design photos) and in 2015 gaining joint 3rd position in the Swarovski Create Your Style Summer 2015 competition with her crochet wire daisy statement necklace design (available to buy on the website). To this day, Designs by Jojo is still entering competitions to gain further exposure and experience in different mediums.
Designs by Jojo has spent the last few years learning both sterling silver techniques and making metal clay (fine silver) items of jewellery along with incorporating semi-precious gemstones plus developing her love of crochet for relaxation!.
Joanna, having grown up in Pembrokeshire, South West Wales has always wanted to be creative, making unique, hand made products, firstly from beautiful textured paper and card, then later experimenting with beads, in particular Swarovski crystals, wire crochet, semi-precious gemstones and precious metal clay (99.9% silver) along with sterling silver.
